In a world flooded with single-use everything, we wanted to create something different. Something circular. Something conscious. At Poem, our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop at clean ingredients—it extends all the way to what holds them.
Because how a product lives is only half the story.
How it leaves matters just as much.
Designed to Be Reborn
Every Poem product is housed in recyclable, mono-material packaging—which means every individual component is made from a single type of material, making it easier to recycle and repurpose. No mixed plastics. No hidden waste. Just design that considers both form and afterlife.
Where plastic is necessary, we make it count: every plastic component contains at least 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. That means it’s not virgin plastic—it’s material that’s already lived a life and is being reimagined instead of tossed.
What is PCR and Why Does It Matter?
PCR stands for post-consumer recycled—meaning the plastic has been previously used (think milk jugs, shampoo bottles, detergent containers) and then reclaimed, cleaned, and reborn as new packaging.
By using PCR:
-
We reduce landfill waste
-
Lower the demand for new plastic production
-
Cut down on energy and carbon emissions
It’s not perfect. But it’s progress—and part of our ongoing effort to minimize our environmental impact without compromising on luxury, function, or feel.
Sustainability Is a Poetic Practice
We know there’s no such thing as truly zero waste. But we believe that careful choices, repeated daily, write a different future.
That’s why Poem is committed to:
-
Recyclable, easy-to-separate packaging
-
Minimalist designs that reduce excess waste
-
Responsibly sourced cartons, always made from FSC-certified paper
-
Small-batch production to avoid overstock and landfill-bound beauty
Our goal is to make sustainable beauty second nature—not a trade-off, but a given.
You Finish the Poem
Once you’ve used up your Poem product, the story doesn’t end. Rinse it. Recycle it. Let it begin again.
Because in our world, even endings can be beautiful.
